Hi there, I’m Steph-founder of Let’s Elope. 👋🏻

I’ve been a photographer for 13+ years, and somewhere along the way I realized I loved moments that weren’t the stuff, over-produced ones. Those in-between moments. The deep breaths. The nervous hand holding. The “whoa, we’re really doing this” moments. That’s what pulled me into elopements in the Smoky Mountains-a place I am proud to call HOME. 🌄

When I’m not planning elopements or photographing weddings, you can usually find me:
🐾 Wrangling or hiking with my wild-child Goldendoodle Lou, who is equal parts chaos and love
🥖 Baking sourdough and trying out new variations
🍝 Hunting for new restaurants and loyally returning to my local favorites
💛 Believing wholeheartedly in community over competition-there is room for all of us to win

I also get the honor of raising two bonus kiddos, which means days can sometimes be loud, emotional, hilarious and always deeply meaningful. This role has taught me a lot about patience, flexibility, and showing up-all things that matter so much on a wedding day.

One of my favorite parts of this job? Getting a peek into my clients’ lives after the wedding. Watching you buy homes, welcome babies, start businesses, and celebrate milestones. I genuinely cheer you on from the sidelines because your wins feel personal to me, and I never take that trust lightly.

At the heart of it all, I believe your wedding day should feel like you-not a performance, not a production, not something done just because it’s expected. Whether you’re saying vows on a foggy mountain overlook or popping champagne in hiking boots, I’m here to help you feel comfortable, confident, and fully present.
