My weekend …

Those days in Bora Bora possessed a beauty that is hard to explain…
It wasn’t just the sea, nor the sky, nor the silence—

It was the way everything there made you *feel* more deeply.

I brought along a book by Jhenniffer Barbosa: *O Peso do Meu Silêncio* (The Weight of My Silence).

And reading those pages in such a beautiful place…
It was like seeing two worlds at once:

On one side, the lightness of everything I was experiencing;
On the other, the weight of stories that so many people carry in silence.

And, for the first time in a long while…
I stopped.

I stopped to appreciate what I have,
To truly feel the present moment,
To understand that while some get to live days like these…
Others are simply trying to survive.

It is not a lighthearted book,
But it is a necessary read.

Before I left, I left it behind in the library—

Like someone leaving a piece of their heart tucked away there…
Hoping it might find someone else
At just the right moment.

Because some stories…
Don’t come to us by chance;
They find the very person who needs them most.
