Sweet couple. Blooming magnolia. Baby on the way. šŸŒøšŸ¼

This May 11th wedding had ALL the good things — and mom and brother of the bride there to cheer them on made it even sweeter. So honored to be part of days like this. šŸ¤

53 years ago today, two people stood up and made a promise.
No viral moment. Just vows — and the decision, made over and over again for five decades, to keep them.
This is my parents, Karen and Cliff, on their wedding day. Watching them has shaped everything about why I do this work. When I stand with couples at the altar, I’m thinking about love like this — the kind that’s still going strong 53 years later.
Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad. šŸ¤

Sometimes love looks like a circle arch in the living room, rose petals on the hardwood floor,a cat in the background and a dog in a bandana that says ā€œmy humans are getting married.ā€ šŸ¾šŸ’
Honored to officiate this intimate home ceremony today — just the two of them, their fur babies, and a whole lot of love.

Spring weddings at Tarrywile are something special. 🌿 Today I had the joy of officiating for a couple beginning their newest chapter together — and somewhere across the lawn, a quinceaƱera was busy with their own photo shoot. When they realized a wedding was happening nearby, they stopped, waited, and when I pronounced them married, erupted in cheers. Strangers becoming witnesses. Two families, two milestones, one beautiful afternoon. That’s the kind of day that reminds you why this work matters.

Our St. Patrick’s Day tradition šŸ€

Every year… we skip the corned beef and go straight for Mexican food šŸŒ®šŸ˜‚

It’s not traditional. It’s not fancy.
But it’s ours — and somehow that’s what makes it matter.

After officiating weddings, I’ve learned this:
The little things couples choose to do together…
those are the things that last ā¤ļø

What’s one tradition you and your partner have?

Blizzard 2026 ā„ļø
We shoveled. We survived.
And then the best husband ever made me hot cocoa in my favorite mug. ā˜•

Marriage is built in big moments…
and in small, warm ones like this.

Your ceremony sets the tone for your marriage.

It’s not just the part before the party.
It’s the foundation moment.

The words you choose.
The promises you speak.
The way you honor your story.

That moment shapes how you step into everything that follows.

If you’re planning 2026, don’t treat your ceremony like filler.
Let’s make it meaningful.

Planning 2026? Let’s talk.

I take celebrations seriously around here.

One of my favorite parts of officiating is witnessing the quiet moments—
the deep breath, the squeeze of a hand, the look that says we’re really doing this.

Love is sacred work. šŸ’WeddingOfficiant
