The Fish Tank Proudly Presents
Gregory Page: A Tribute to the Music of Leon Redbone
June 14, 2025 - 7:00 - 9:00 PM.

The Fish Tank welcomes back a crowd fave, Gregory Page, whose album Once Long Ago just won Best Pop Album of the Year at the 2025 San Diego Music Awards!
Gregory Page’s new stage show is an homage to his muse and mentor, the iconic, enigmatic, dramatic, charismatic Leon Redbone. This show is a charmingly authentic, musical, magical, whimsical and even theatrical production.
With his fedora and guitar in hand, Gregory will take you on a journey that's more than a concert, evoking the timeless charm of Tin Pan Alley.

DATE CHANGE FOR DOLORES HUERTA MOVIE FUNDRAISER!

Recently we became aware that April 5th is now a national day of protest, so in the spirit of Dolores Huerta, who has dedicated her life to political activism, we've decided to change the date of our event to Sunday, April 6 so everyone can spend Saturday out on the street if they want! The new date and time is Sunday, April 6 at 2 p.m. (doors will open at 1:30).

On April 5 at 3p.m. the Fish Tank is hosting a fundraiser for the Dolores Huerta Foundation in celebration of Dolores' 95th birthday. We're showing the movie, Dolores, a documentary about the life of Dolores Huerta. One of the most important, yet least known, activists of our time, Dolores Huerta was an equal partner in founding the first farm workers union with César Chávez. Tirelessly leading the fight for racial and labor justice, Huerta evolved into one of the most defiant feminists of the 20th century — and she continues the fight to this day, in her mid-90s. With unprecedented access to this intensely private mother of 11, Peter Bratt's film Dolores chronicles Huerta’s life from her childhood in Stockton, California to her early years with the United Farm Workers, from her work with the headline-making grape boycott launched in 1965 to her role in the feminist movement of the '70s, to her continued work as a fearless activist. Tickets are $40 and include movie, donation to the Dolores Huerta Foundation, and fiesta appetizers. The door and bar will open at 2:30.

This Friday, March 7, the Fish Tank is beyond thrilled to present Jazzgrass, featuring Barnaby Finch. Jazzgrass is an exciting 7-member band dedicated to toe-tappin’, accessible music honoring the traditions of bluegrass, Appalachian music, Americana, and the jazz composers who have their ears attuned to our rural homeland. Barnaby Finch is their musical director/keyboardist, with credits including George Benson, Lee Ritenour, Tom Scott, Lionel Richie and many others! Joining Barnaby are six musicians whose credits are too amazing to elaborate in this email...but they're on our website and I invite you to check them out!
The concert is from 7:30 to 10 p.m., with doors and bar opening at 7:00.

Experience The Four Muses' second "Hoot" (a hootenanny is defined as "an informal gathering with folk music [and sometimes dancing]") at our upcoming event on September 21. Join us for an evening full of music and community. The Four Muses was a venue for live music in San Clemente, founded by Mary and Jim Jenkins so that local musicians had a place to perform. It turned into THE place to see live music in south O.C. and hosted musicians that went on to stardom, such as Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, Steve Martin, Taj Mahal, Honk and many others. At the first hoot we hosted in July, several of the original Four Muses musicians participated in a reunion of sorts. Come be part of The Four Muses "redo" community!

July 27th.

Gregory Page is an eclectic, prolific, genre-bending performing songwriter, balladeer, recording artist, film maker, art activist, music producer, and published poet with an extensive discography (over 20 albums). His music has an old-fashioned "feel-good" quality to it that will leave you smiling.

Over the years, Page has been recognized with multiple awards for his music, including San Diego Music Awards 1997 Best Acoustic Artist. His album One Hell of a Memory won Album of the Year and Best Pop Album honors at the 2021 San Diego Music Awards. He has worked with an array of artists such as Jason Mraz, John Doe, Jewel, Tom Brosseau, Steve Poltz, John C. Reilly, Tim Knol and A.J. Croce. He has performed in a wide range of venues (London’s 02 Arena) and international music festivals (Woodford & Manly), having opened for the likes of Bob Dylan, Leon Russell, Judy Collins, Chris Isaak, and Jason Mraz. According to Mraz: "He’s the real deal, a rare gift." For more information and tickets go to: https://fishtankcapo.com/upcoming-events

Before the Coach House, in the ‘60s and ‘70s San Clemente’s The Four Muses was THE place to see musicians…like Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt and local music students of Mary Jenkins, a guitar teacher and co-founder with her husband Jim of The Four Muses. We’re hosting their son, Jonathan Morgan Jenkins, who is resurrecting The Four Muses via social media, and many of those original local performers at their first “Hoot” (short for Hootenanny) at The Fish Tank!

Fish Tank Capo

The Fish Tank is the vision of Larry Robinson, a business owner in Capistrano Beach, California who was considering options for the warehouse previously used for his business. He pictured a place for artists of all kinds to come together and create...also a place where people from the community gather for events, celebrations, classes...and where sharing of ideas is encouraged. His mantra is, “Community, creativity, collaboration”.

Five years in the making, the Fish Tank held its grand opening on October 19, 2019 and guests were treated to local food from El Patio Café in Capo Beach, music by Daring Greatly (a band from Calgary, Canada that has made their home in north San Diego County), and live art by local artist Tom Clark.
