Missed the event? Ride our 2025 DAM 200 route anytime!

Come to Damascus and ride the route anytime at your own pace. We have hundreds of miles of good riding nearby and will come up with a new epic route to share with you at the next DAM 200 event in June 2026! Start and finish your ride in Damascus, following scenic, winding back roads on a mix of paved and gravel surfaces, including Government Road, Big Creek Road, Dennis Cove Road, McQueen Gap Road, Alvarado Road, and more.

We sent off more than 100 riders this morning for the first-ever Damascus Adventure Moto DAM 200 under soggy skies. Stoke is high and the sun is starting to pop back out already...come see us this evening for a big raffle and lots of tall tales at Appalachian Heritage Distillery & Brewery! Raffle starts at 6pm. Live music tonight as well!

Tonight is the South East BDR film screening, 7pm at the Damascus Old Mill Inn! Free to the public. Backcountry Discovery Routes reps on-site. We'll have a DAM 200 check-in table and last-minute registration at the film screening as well. See you there!

We're gearing up for next weekend's Damascus Adventure Moto DAM 200 and we cannot wait to see you in Damascus, Virginia soon!

Final event details and GPX files will be sent out to registered participants next week. Roll on into town and check in at Tent City anytime after 3pm on Friday. Not registered yet? It isn't too late!

Not ready for the 200km ride? That's okay too! Join us on Friday evening for a film screening of the NEW! South East BDR at the Damascus Old Mill Inn. On Saturday evening, come to Appalachian Heritage Distillery & Brewery for live music and a big DAM 200 raffle! Tickets will be available for purchase a $5 or 5 for $20.

Check out our newest addition in town! Did you know that Damascus, Virginia sits at the crossroads of the Mid-Atlantic and South East Backcountry Discovery Routes? We just added new signs at the terminus on the corner of Laurel Avenue and Shady Avenue. Headed south to the Florida coast and north to the Pennsylvania-New York state line, these BDRs are long-distance, off-highway routes for adventure and dual-sport motorcycle travel.
