From the moment I started in the wedding industry, I knew I had found my true calling. What started as a small dream to help couples create their perfect day quickly turned into something far bigger than I could have ever imagined. I remember those early days — just me, Megan and a whole lot of heart. We poured everything we had into our small wedding company, learning on the go, working late nights, and celebrating every little victory.
As Celebrate Dallas grew, so did our team. I was so lucky to surround myself with amazing, talented people who shared my vision and passion. Together, we built something beautiful—something that wasn’t just about weddings, but about helping people celebrate love in all its forms. We grew, we laughed, we cried, and we celebrated countless milestones with the couples who trusted us to make their dreams come true.
Then came the hardest part—separating from my business partner. It was a tough decision, one that weighed heavily on us, but it was the right one for our growth and the future of the company. I learned that sometimes you have to let go of things to make room for something greater.
Then, just when I thought we’d weathered all the storms, the world shut down with COVID. I won’t lie—there were days when I didn’t know how we would survive. But we did. We adapted, we pivoted, and we found new ways to keep going. And that sense of resilience, determination, and love for what we do carried us through one of the toughest times in our industry’s history.
Now, after all these years, I’m passing the torch to someone who will carry on the legacy with the same passion and care I always had. Selling my business is bittersweet— is not just a company, it’s a part of me. But I am filled with so much gratitude for every couple, every team member, and every moment that led me to this point.
On that note, I am beyond excited to introduce the new owner of Celebrate Dallas — . Alex is a passionate, driven and incredible creative who will take this business to new heights. Cont. in comments.
