This weekend, I had the pleasure of attending The MyShadi Bridal Expo, an event specifically catered to Indian weddings. As a certified Indian wedding planner, being able to connect and network within the Indian community was a truly rewarding experience.

The expo was filled with an impressive array of vendor booths showcasing their spectacular services. From decorators and caterers to makeup artists and photographers, each vendor displayed their unique offerings with warmth and inviting hospitality.

Attending this bridal expo has left me excited for the opportunity to work with these talented vendors in planning future Indian weddings. Their creativity, professionalism, and dedication to providing exceptional experiences for couples is truly inspiring.

Today is World Kindness Day!

As an event and wedding planner, I believe that kindness is an essential element in creating memorable and meaningful experiences for my clients. It’s not just about the logistics and aesthetics; it’s about fostering a sense of warmth, compassion, and understanding throughout the entire event.

I had the privilege of coordinating a Dia de los Mu***os themed wedding at the McNay Art Museum in beautiful San Antonio, Texas, and I couldn’t be prouder of how it turned out. This wedding was truly amazing and filled with an abundance of love and laughter. Working with Catherine and Elfego, the lovely couple who tied the knot, was an absolute delight. Not only were they a joy to work with, but they also happened to be talented mariachi singers, which added an extra special touch to their big day.

The choice of a Dia de los Mu***os theme for their wedding was both unique and meaningful. Dia de los Mu***os, or Day of the Dead, is a traditional Mexican holiday that celebrates and honors deceased loved ones. It is a vibrant and colorful celebration that embraces life and death as interconnected parts of the human experience. Incorporating this theme into their wedding allowed Catherine and Elfego to pay homage to their cultural heritage while also creating a visually stunning and emotionally rich atmosphere.

The McNay Art Museum provided the perfect backdrop for this extraordinary celebration. Located in San Antonio, Texas, the museum is renowned for its collection of modern and contemporary art. Its beautiful architecture and picturesque grounds offered a captivating setting for Catherine and Elfego’s special day. The combination of art, culture, and love made this wedding truly unforgettable.

As the wedding coordinator, my role was to ensure that every detail was executed flawlessly. From coordinating with vendors to managing the timeline, my team and I worked tirelessly to bring Catherine and Elfego’s vision to life. The decorations were carefully chosen to reflect the vibrant colors and symbolism of Dia de los Mu***os, with marigolds, sugar skulls, and papel picado adorning the venue.

I am incredibly grateful to have been a part of this extraordinary wedding. It was a true testament to the power of love, culture, and celebration. Seeing Catherine and Elfego surrounded by their loved ones, embracing their heritage, and sharing their passion for music was a truly heartwarming experience.
