While we realize the meetings and events industry might be seeking to help mitigate risks by allowing attendees to verify and confirm their IDs, and “validate” vaccine information to operate in safe and secure ways, data privacy is a top concern. As meeting professionals, it is our job to ensure our customer’s attendees and contacts are valued and treated with respect. We believe the decision to "reject vaccine passports" helps ensure that this is a priority. We believe successful meeting planning hinges on communication and trust so data privacy is key.
