I have had the amazing honor of being in this wedding and event industry for 15 plus years. I have assisted hundreds of couples with getting down the aisle, provided beautiful centerpieces and installs of floral and decor for beautiful celebrations and events and met some amazing people. Doing weddings has put me in rooms I never thought I would be in. More than I could have ever dreamed or asked for. I started this business just wanting to help people celebrate their love at my church. Today it has grown into something bigger than I ever planned it to be. Although, there is so much farther it could/can go….I am grateful for the weddings and events we had on the books this year. It gave me a chance to reflect, relax, rest and think. I am eternally grateful for where I am and what myself and my team have accomplished. I’ve done it scared, nervous and excited all at the same time. I do not take for granted those who have trusted and believed in me over the years. My only plan is to be better each year and continue to deliver EXACTLY what I say I will. Cheers to D. 7 things you think you know about wedding florals… until you talk to a pro:

1. It’s not the flower types that raise your cost → it’s labor, staffing, logistics + installation time. It’s the labor teams, installation hours, transportation windows, repurposing logistics, and teardown crews. That is where the real costs live.

2. Florals aren’t “decor” we literally engineer structures. We’re basically architects with zip ties, ladders, mechanics, and a dream.

3. Some flowers are divas: they bruise, wilt, collapse & misbehave depending on humidity and time of day. They bruise if you breathe near them, faint in the sun, and wilt if the humidity looks at them wrong. That’s where your florists education, training and expertise comes in.
