I'm sharing the GoFundMe for my late friend, Danny Torres, who was also my compadre and my son's Godfather.
I honestly don't even know what to say. Even though I found out Wednesday morning that he had passed, it still doesn't feel real. I've found myself talking about him every day since, sharing stories about the kind of man he was. He wasn't just a friend. He was my best friend, a mentor and the big brother I chose. He always believed in me. Pushed me to do things I didn't even know were possible. Taught me so much and wouldn't allow me to cut corners anywhere.
