Dear SWP Family,

It’s that time again! We are officially opening nominations for the 2027 Society of Wedding Professionals Board of Directors.

Serving on the SWP Board is an opportunity to become more involved in the organization, build stronger relationships within our wedding community, and play an active role in the continued growth of SWP.

The following positions are open for the 2027 Board of Directors, with all positions serving a one (1) year term:

Director of Community Relations
Director of Luncheons
Director of Socials
Director of Programs
Director of Media and PR
Member at Large – Two (2) positions available
This is your opportunity to submit your name for consideration for one of the available positions.

Voting will open on Monday, October 19, 2026, and close on Friday, November 6, 2026, Midnight.

The 2027 SWP Board of Directors will be announced at our November Luncheon on Wednesday, November 18, 2026.

*What’s your favorite season and why?
Fall is my favorite season for many reasons. It’s not hot, but not cold; football; my birthday is in the fall; I am basic and love pumpkin spice everything!

*What was the best vacation you ever took and why?
The year I went on road trip to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Tetons. It was one of the most beautiful untouched places.
Waterfalls and mountains, crystal clear lakes and majestic wildlife. Last trip I got to take my dog on.

*Do you have a favorite holiday? Why or why not?
Christmas by far. It’s just such a joyful season that I believe keeps everyone in a good spirits! My faith is very important to me so very grateful for the true celebration of Christmas. I love all the lights, décor and holiday movies!

*What’s your go-to guilty pleasure?
Square package beef ramen noodles. Literally nothing better.

*What’s your favorite quote from a TV show/movie/book?
Alrighty then

Hiking/running across the Teton Crest Trail in Jackson Hole,Wyoming. 42 miles in 1 day.

That I look liked Natalie Portman

Count of Monte Cristo!

*Would you say you're more of an extrovert or an introvert?
I feel I am a social introvert

*What's your go-to guilty pleasure?
My husband. LOL
