After marriage, wedding rings are traditionally worn on the fourth finger of the left hand, known as the ring finger. This tradition is believed to have originated from the ancient Egyptian belief that a vein in this finger, called the "vena amoris," runs directly to the heart.

Before the ceremony, your engagement ring should be placed on the right hand if possible, and the wedding band should be placed on the 'Ring Finger.” After you are married, you place your engagement ring back on the ring finger with the band closest to the heart 💜
