There’s something deeply human and a little ironic at the center of Heroes Hearthstone.
Most of the people who make up this community would never call themselves heroes.
Ask them and they’ll say something like:
“I was just doing my job.”
“I was just showing up.”
“I was just answering the call.”
But when you step back and look at the pattern of their lives, something else becomes clear.
Heroes Hearthstone is a community built by people whose actions, day after day, sometimes in the hardest moments imaginable, consistently reflect the kind of courage most people only ever see from a distance.
Veterans.
First responders.
And the families who stand beside them through every season of that life.
The good moments.
The long nights.
The invisible weight that comes home after the uniform is hung up.
Those families carry that reality too. They live it just as much as the ones wearing the badge, the turnout gear, or the uniform.
What we find remarkable is that the resources being built through Heroes Hearthstone don’t come from some distant institution.
They come from the community.
From people and organizations who believe the ones protecting our towns deserve support too.
Businesses like R and R Tent Rentals, who provide equipment for many of our events that bring people together.
Back Mountain Brewing Company, whose partnership has helped raise over $30,000 to support programs for veterans and first responders.
E-Stern Construction, who donated a truck that now helps deliver over 3,000 pounds of food every week to families who need it most.
And businesses like...
Bernie's Pizza Dallas, PA
EIO Waste & Recycling Solutions
Nick of Time Printing, LLC
Paytons Place
Allstate Insurance Agent: Dan Yarros
Grotto Pizza Harvey's Lake
PS Bank
Wet Paint Printing & Design, Valley Printery and Design, Back Mountain Makery, BKV Corporation, and Just Breathe Wellness Studio. And many, many more.
And the backbone of communities across the country.
The American Legion Posts and VFW Posts and the Blue Star Mothers of NEPA.
Every one of them helping build something that didn’t exist before.
Heroes Hearthstone exists for a simple reason.
There was a need.
A need for connection.
A need for understanding.
A need for a place where people who have carried heavy things don’t have to explain themselves.
And our community stepped forward.
Because the truth is, the people who serve, whether in the military, in firehouses, in patrol cars, in ambulances, in emergency rooms receiving patients, or on the other end of the phone guiding help to someone on their worst day, do not do it for recognition.
Even though they deserve it.
They do it because they believe in protecting the places and the people that make life worth living.
Heroes Hearthstone exists because our community decided those people deserve the same kind of support in return.
Struggle and strength share the same spine. Communities and heroes do too.
If you believe in supporting those who serve and the families who stand beside them, you can help us continue building these resources right here at home.

Strong communities aren’t built through grand gestures.
They’re built through thousands of small acts of people choosing to show up for one another and we are so grateful for how you show up.
