Social media manager taking over for a minute because it’s Amanda’s birthday!! 🥳🩷

I’ve had the privilege of working with Amanda and The Barkday Planner for a while now, and if there’s one thing I can say, it’s that she is exactly the kind of person you want behind a business like this. She’s creative, thoughtful, incredibly hardworking, and always has another fun idea up her sleeve. 😂

And her love for dogs goes WAY beyond her business. She has the biggest heart for pups who need a little extra love (and somehow always seems to find room for one more who needs a home 🥹🐾).

Plot twist: we don’t only plan parties. 👀

The Barkday Planner creates pet-centered brand activations, corporate events and community experiences designed to bring brands and dog parents together IRL.

From a pup cup pop-up for a Prime Video movie release with CultureMap, to resident experiences with The Village Dallas, to an upcoming community event with Rivian around the launch of their new pet features — this side of our business has quietly become one of my favorite things we do.

And apparently, the word is getting out. We were recently approached by one of Texas’ largest dog festivals, bringing together 1,500+ dachshunds, to help curate an experience surrounding their event!

So maybe it’s time we stopped keeping this part of The Barkday Planner so quiet. 😉
