What a way to end 2022! SImply Inspired Events & Designs was selected to participate in the Collin County Black Chamber of Commerce 2022 Biz Incubator Program.

It was a 7-week course where we heard from guest speakers and business owners about finance, marketing, budgeting, business strategies, etc. This was an opportunity to work ON my business rather than IN my business. We also had to complete a business plan!

The program was topped off by attending the Chamber of Commerce Year End Gala. Each incubator participant was able to set up a vendor table to connect with gala attendees. It was an amazing opportunity to network and share with others about who we are and what we do.

Looking forward to putting everything I learned into action in 2023!

My portfolio contains a lot of baby showers and kids parties which I absolutely love. I also use a lot of color in my designs which I love as well, so this all white and gold adult celebration was different but I absolutely loved the outcome.

I have no idea what these symbols mean, except they are buttons on the controller 🤷🏾‍♀️ but I wanted to incorporate them into the balloons.
The boys tried to teach me how to play and it was an epic fail 🤣
The funny part is I used to play video games as a kid!

Anyone else a Super Mario fan? I remember playing Super Mario Bros. as a kid so I enjoyed designing this kids table scape and balloon backdrop.

Balloons will oxidize when displayed outdoors giving them a matte look. I decided to play around with this display and add a little spray to them to make the balloons shine. Here’s how the display looks after the sun set and the balloons were shined.

Happy Friday! I can’t believe it’s September! Fall is my absolute favorite season of the year. During this time of year I’m used to cool breezes, leaves changing, hoodies (my fave) and warm drinks but it’s still in the 90s!

Anywho...if you’ve been following my stories here’s the finished balloon garland I set up yesterday for my little Avengers fan!

I’ve been a little quiet during the first quarter of 2021. That’s because we’ve been preparing to relocate to Texas! It’s been a desire of ours for quite some time and it’s finally happening!
