I believe that everybody experiences stress in one form or another and at different levels. However, to those of you who are experiencing a high level, don't lose hope. Stress and anxiety (in that order) go hand in hand. Sometimes it is extremely difficult to overcome these feelings. Living a stress-free life can be very challenging. But if we read, understand, and apply God's Word to our lives, you can conquer in Jesus' name. Some of you may be skeptical, but it can be done if you trust God to see you through it. 1 Peter 5:7 says this, ““Throw all your anxieties upon him, because he cares about you.” It is in God's Word that we find strength, comfort and above all, rest. You see, resting in God and in his presence, through Jesus Christ, is the key. Matthew 11:28-30 says this, ”28. Come to me, all of you who are struggling and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” The Lord reminded me of this today because I've been dealing with it here lately. Amid our struggles and storms, we tend to forget and that's when Satan attacks or makes his way into your life to suffer from these mental disturbances. There is only one way to live a stress-free, anxiety-free, and worry-free life, and that is through Jesus Christ, the Messiah, and Savior. He is truly the only answer to all of life's problems. Even then, God did not promise us that we would experience these storms, but will give us the strength to see us through. You are not alone. I challenge today to cast all of your cares upon him because he truly does and always will love you. ~Jarrod Martinez

It is so amazing and I am blessed to see God working in my life. Although, it wasn't always like this. You see, I've known the Lord for many years, and at one point in my life, I saw his hand working in it. But then, I reverted to doing the same thing I used to before. I was in a state of confusion, lost and quite frankly, I had given up on God because I wanted immediate results. Microwave action! Life had no meaning whatsoever. I was wandering through it aimlessly meandering my way through it. I then came into an epiphany and realized that I cannot give God injunctions on how to do his job. Then one day, he spoke to me loud and clear and told me that I going about life the wrong way. That I can not give him decrees on how and what to perform in my life. He told me that if I didn't hand over my will to him, that I would continue to do this for the rest of my life. He then said that to see a change in my life, a real change, that I needed to become obedient to him and his Word. He said that if continued to behave this way, I would lead continue to live a perilous and faithless life. All of this he said in a very lovingly but firm manner. Just like a father would tell his child. He was telling me all of this for my good. On that day, I fell to my knees and wholeheartedly, with every fiber of my being, asked him to please forgive me for my disobedient and reckless behavior. I felt an immediate weight lifting off from me. I then remembered the Words Abba, Father. I told him that his will be done, not mine that I was no longer a slave to Satan or this world. Since that day I felt true rest and peace in my heart. My life has never been the same since then. Of course, he didn't promise us life on a silver platter or that we would it free from temptation, rather, he will always provide a way, giving us the strength to endure and persevere. I now see God's hand working in my life. I now see the manifestation of his blessings upon me. I have handed over my will to him and let him take control of my life. I'm have now been able to set goals according to his will and accomplishing things I never dreamed of. I also see the enemy's persistence but now I know how to handle eve
