Our mouth watering brisket, sausage, ribs and other meats are smoked over Texas post oak. Updated versions of classic southern sides and some Schmidt family favorites round out the menu. God personally blessed this BBQ 😭🔥 and I’m still thinking about this meal!

We drove all the way out to Dallas to finally try Lockhart Smokehouse BBQ & Catering, and this was one of those meals where every single person at the table kept saying, “okayyyy, THIS is good.” 😂

The brisket was easily one of the standouts for us. Tender, smoky, juicy, and full of flavor. And those ribs? Absolutely incredible. 🤌🏽

We also loaded up on all the good sides and extras because there was no way we were leaving without trying as much as possible. And YES, you need to save room for dessert because their homemade banana pudding and peach cobbler were the perfect way to finish everything off. 🥹

If you’re in Dallas and craving authentic Texas BBQ, add this one to your list! We loved our visit and would definitely come back for another plate. 🤤🔥
