The Colorado is back under the knife for some more updates before the next outing. Some brake updates and much needed cooling upgrades are on the list. Now we just need to convince Dave to put a 2 foot blower sticking out of the hood. I hear it's good for… airflow or something.

This is from a private test day in one of our rental cars. We were out seeing which ones could be turned into spacecraft. Elon Musk could never.

We have some rentals available for our next RallySprint on October 25th. We suggest bringing your own spine protection if you’re feeling this sendy though.

Throwback to 2017 when we had everyone’s favorite Aussie come to the ranch to rip around in one of our old EP3 Honda Civic school cars.

“Nah mate, I don’t think you understand. I don’t know WHAT I’m doing. I’ve never driven a car with a roof on it.”

Fun fact, Dave birthed the DR’s Texas nickname, Danny Ricky, on this day in honor of Daniel’s preceding visit to do a helmet trade with Dale Jr at a NASCAR race.

I think we’re overdue for a refresh in our new cars…

Pulling up to Mr. Tunnel with no brakes has to be the same feeling that a Girl Scout Cookie gets when I walk into the room. Pure terror. Luckily he spared and from an ass-whooping, but others weren't so lucky. It’s probably because they talked to him real nice.

It’s back to school season, but I ain’t talking about calculus.

The first day of school is all about mastering our Core 4 exercises to build up your baseline skill set. Regardless of your experience level, there is something for everyone to learn. Not to mention there is something ridiculously fun about throwing a Mazda 2 sideways at full throttle. Way cooler than English class.

and .kj had an incredible weekend at the Boone Forest Rally. This was the return to competition for Dave after a nearly 3 year hiatus where he was doing responsible adult things like, you know, growing a business, rescuing dogs and getting married. But now he has returned to the dark side and boy was it worth the wait. On the other hand, KJ has been living in the darkness the entire time (emperor palpatine voice), but this was his first stage rally behind the wheel since last November and only his second time driving. He pulled off a 5th Overall and 2nd L4WD finish after some concerningly high commitment driving at times. Both cars/truck made it back in one piece and don't really require any crazy repairs which is the biggest W of them all. This was just phase one of Rally Ready’s return to stage rally 👀

Will someone do me a favor and tell me why the Colorado is actually fast now?? 😮

is trying to go back to the future hitting 88MPH through this section on SS3 of The Boone Forest Rally.

Unironically, this is probably the fastest any Chevy Colorado in the entire world has ever gone on a gravel road. All it took was a Corvette engine and custom trophy truck suspension 😅

Entry for the Lost Pines RallySprint opens Tomorrow, Monday August 25th. We have a ton of changes coming to the RallySprints that will benefit everyone involved.

New stages including a 4.2 mile long monster and a WRC style Head to Head stage. New spectator areas in the woods and main facility that will allow you to get closer to the action that ever before.

And of course we are keeping the night stages, TORE Off-road stage and all the other goodies that you guys loved about the RallySprints.

Spectators can buy tickets and a Forest Pass on our website (link in bio). Media and volunteer registration can be done at the link in our bio.

We have 2 months left till party time. See y’all on October 25th!

We can host events for ANYONE. Yes, even the Robot Dog creators

We asked our staff to come up with some ideas for unique activities for an event with Boston Dynamics. They certainly had some interesting ideas but surprisingly enough, these aren’t totally unrealistic.

Welcome to the Boone Forest Rally lawn update with

3 things were learned in the first day of competition for the Colorado.
1. The Colorado works incredibly well and is actually extremely enjoyable to drive.
2. When you haven’t written pace notes in 3 years, don’t trust a damn thing you said on recce.
3. Minimal shifting out of 3rd gear = Maximum pain and crunching for 3rd gear.

Are you more of a Thrill or Chill person? 🤔

Maybe rally cars aren’t your thing. That’s alright, we still have tons of things to keep you smiling. You can have some world famous Texas BBQ or maybe try your hand at room clearing in the CQB Combat area. Or you can just chill out with your friends and tell stories around a Red Bull F1 car. Whatever dips your chip or whatever they say.

Me though? You’ll find me in the car.
