Don’t you just love to watch things grow?

There is something about watching a sprout burst through surface that brings about a childlike excitement in all of us! We check back in on that tiny sprout each day, checking its progress, waiting for growth, and hoping our care and efforts are not in vain. Finally, a blossom; we’ve done it!

The best part about the amaryllis bulbs is seeing its progress each morning by my kitchen window. I love the anticipation of when it will bloom and the nostalgic feeling it gives of the holidays growing up.

I started giving them as gifts especially around the holidays because they bring a little JOY to each morning. They are great too for those friends who don’t have the greenest of thumbs, but share in the excitement of watching things grow as I do.

I have a long legacy of ladies in my family that have always done beautiful things with the simplest of things like clipping from their yard, picks from the side of the road or maybe their neighbors yards!

I enjoy creating and I am driven by that. I often think ‘this is good so how can I take it to the next level and make it great?’ What a joy is it for me to bless others with beautiful things like flowers!
