We just counted and it’s been 15 back-to-back events and we taking full advantage of enjoying this weekend off. Gracefully finishing them all off!
Off days are really not fully off days for us— there’s emails, admin work, work errands, endless organizing—but we are def enjoying this no events weekend to recharge, refresh and enjoy the weekend as most of the world does!

We love a statement piece and a way to paint imagine to the memory of how your day went.
Here’s our unpopular opinion. Beautiful flower centerpieces do not need fill each table. While this may seem beautiful when seated and the room fills with them. Depending on the amount of tables we are covering, the venue and space it self, a wanting a centerpiece for each of your guest table is not a memory your guest will take away with them.
Instead, use the budget to create an atmosphere where all the eyes of the room can see and instantly feel apart of. All the while we love a good centerpiece, keep in mind of the budget and how to best use it to make the most of the design. Have a question? It’s a great way to allow your designer and planning team to take the lead on what we know best.

HOW MUCH DOES THAT COST? ✨
Here’s the biggest question we all seem to wonder when it comes to what’s priced in your flower arrangement. The truth is, it’s a little complexed and even when explained the answer is not definite and more so an estimated gauge where your designer works in.
We found the ✨ best ✨ way to break this down, like most things in our industry is comparing these things to yourself shopping in a grocery store for your planned meal.
Flowers, like fruits and vegetables are always priced at Market Value. Walking through the fruit aisle, each week the price of the fruits may differ slightly. All fruits at different price points. This falls just the same for different flower varieties. They all carry a diff stem price.
These fruits, just like flowers, start off in a farm and cared for once matured enough to be sold off. The more human hands they pass through, it’s season of availability and the complexity how they get cared for all gets priced in the one single Passionfruit. This is the same with a flower. As your florist, we take all these factors and include them in the price, as well as the price of our care and design time to create your arrangement. Included into your arrangement price we always factor in the supplies needed to create that design, as well as the labor of design and it’s after care—into our large walk in cooler! All this gets factored into the one single price into each arrangement every designer prices your arrangement at.
Here’s the other big question. “Can we just use cost effective flowers to create the same look? For a lesser value?” The answer is sure we could but don’t expect it to be a replicate of an image that consisted of higher values flowers. As we go back to compare ourselves in the grocery store. If parsley may be cheaper than cilantro this certain week at the grocery store. We can expect the Salsa dish you planned to make be the same. It may look a little similar, but the enjoyment of it won’t be the same, because we intentionally made adjustments to accommodate it budget than taste! In reference to flowers, we accommodated to budget than appearance!

Our best tips for those planning an event and want just that, Hire a Planner who is also the designer behind your event. They help keep your thoughts in line, make sure it stays cohesive, can provide you with all A1 vendors they they know to bring together you look (even better than you imagined!) let the designers design, and allow us to introduce you to our world of what we know best.

A well deserving post, for those who have not yet introduced to a strong backbone to our event and business, Michelle!
Many have well been greeted by her on the back end size, but she’s played such a strong role on our week to week, day to day roles and making sure we get everything in line, including Maxine! 😆
From starting off with us going in closer to three years, she’s just filled her place in the business so well. How we did things with out her we just don’t know. We are grateful for her presence, love for the event design industry, and strengths in some many roles she has with us.
Here’s to her and the help in leading the team towards what was planned to be such a busy, busy chaotic fall season so smoothly. As we near the end to it, it wasn’t so bad after all. Having a great team makes all the difference. We are so thankful for her and the rest of the team on all the hard efforts and creativity they all bring to each event.
Cheers to all of our great team members. All of our beautiful events could never be done without them. .

Cheers to SUNDAYS.
This is the primarily the day we take some r+r with family and the ones we love. Have always felt very adamant of making sure the team takes a breather and enjoys a couple days off from a non stop work week.
While we mainly show the end of our week as we set up the event. Our events take take all week if not two to get ready for. Our minds don’t stop working, feet doing stop working, and hands don’t stop creating.
While many may see only the pretty, it’s a load bearing job that if we done make sure we stop and take a little break to refresh can really take a toll on our bodies and minds.
Enjoying this pretty day off as we day dream back at our past events we’ve created. Absolutely love seeing all the different beauty and what our mind and hands allows us to create.

I’ve been MIA the last few days because I have been celebrating my birthday with my closest friends. It was the absolute best time. So many of my friends came in from out of town which made me feel so special. This birthday is one I will never forget. We had the most beautiful dinner, did yoga with goats and laughed way too much.
Blush Floral Co knocked it out of the park with the flowers. Sugarstone Co. once again made the most beautiful, most delicious cake. Muffy Blake Vanderbilt III was the perfect addition to make the night special ❤️❤️❤️
