Quick trip to North Carolina to cater an event.
Had to grab some Carolina BBQ and see how it holds up to Texas Q ! Meat was very tender but …... Sauces Both are vinegar heavy with the South Carolina heavy mustard as well . I didnt try the Memphis sweet . I didn’t want bbq for dessert
Potato Salad or as they menu say tater salad was heavy on the mayo blah . Meat was tender just not a heavy smoke flavor . Which I should’ve known cause the place didn’t smell like smoke when I arrived . Texas Q still king in my book . Overall I’ll give it a 6 . Average . Maybe I’ll try a different BBQ joint before I leave tomorrow.

Today was one for the history books. 🇮🇹

Spent the day exploring the ancient city of Pompeii, walking streets that have stood frozen in time for nearly 2,000 years. Standing in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius and taking in the views over Napoli was both humbling and unforgettable.

History, culture, incredible scenery, and a reminder of just how powerful nature can be. Grateful for every step of this journey and every story these ancient stones still have to tell.

And of course, I had to do it in style—rolling with my multi-colored navy, sky blue, and tan brim from . 👒🔥
