A great morning at The Prizing House!

We were honored to host the Cynthiana-Harrison County Chamber of Commerce Quarterly Breakfast this morning—and what a turnout! We were thrilled to hear it was the largest Chamber breakfast turnout of the year.

Thank you to the Chamber for giving us the opportunity to welcome so many members of our local business community through our doors, and a special thank you to Bullard for sponsoring and providing breakfast for everyone.

Mayor Isaac Dailey and Harrison County Judge Executive Jason Marshall shared updates on accomplishments throughout our city and county, along with a look at projects and plans for the future.

We truly enjoyed having everyone at The Prizing House and being a small part of a morning centered around the continued growth of Cynthiana and Harrison County.

And since we loved having so many of our local businesses under one roof today, we’ll add one little reminder: If your company is starting to think about fall gatherings or Christmas parties, we’d love the opportunity to welcome you back to The Prizing House. 🎄

Some events stay with you. ❤️

Last week, The Prizing House had the privilege of hosting a Celebration of Life honoring Marsha Ann Wright.

Although I did not have the opportunity to personally know Marsha, seeing the incredible number of family, friends, former students and members of the community who came together to celebrate her life spoke volumes about the impact she made.

Marsha dedicated 49 years of her life to education, touching countless lives along the way. It was evident that she was much more than a teacher…she was someone who encouraged others, believed in them and left a lasting impression on generations of people.

The evening was filled with stories, laughter, memories, dinner, dancing and, most importantly, love. It truly felt like what a Celebration of Life should be, a room full of people remembering a life that meant so much to so many.

To the Wright, Denniston, and Vaughn family, thank you for trusting The Prizing House with such a meaningful gathering. It was an honor to open our doors to your family and friends as you celebrated the remarkable life and legacy of Marsha Ann Wright.

May her influence continue to live on through every life she touched. ❤️

Every wedding has a story… and this one definitely gave us one to remember.

Congratulations to this wonderful couple! Thank you for allowing The Prizing House to be part of such a beautiful day. While every wedding is unique, this one featured one of the most creative garter retrievals we’ve ever witnessed. Let’s just say it involved a car jack, a flashlight, a wrench… and plenty of laughter! 😄

Moments like these remind us that weddings aren’t just about beautiful décor and ceremonies—they’re about creating memories that everyone will be talking about for years.

We wish you both a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and just the right amount of creativity. ❤️

It was a true honor to host Battle Grove Cemetery as they gathered to celebrate and honor a valued member during a special farewell dinner.

Thank you for entrusting The Prizing House with such a meaningful occasion. We know evenings like these are about more than just a meal…they’re about celebrating dedication, sharing memories, and recognizing a life of service.
