When founder Jen Yonda moved to Los Angeles, she didn't know anyone and wanted to find other beginner skaters to make friends with. Today, La Skate Hunnies has grown into a "chosen family" of over 1,000 active monthly members 🛼✨

From weekly meetups to roommates, marriages and international trips, this community has become the ultimate support system.

“If you love something... there are millions of other people in the world that also love that. And they want to do it with you,” says Jen.

Hunnies, meet Denecia, also lovingly known as Dee! Dee is a powerhouse rollerblader who’s been with the Hunnies for the past 4 years. The LA native is a published author, hatha yoga instructor, and Greek food fanatic. And in the typical hunnie fashion, she knows how to have fun!

You can catch her bombing hills at various hunnies routes, and ALWAYS sending it, even on the hardest days!

A little story behind this one…
Over the last few years, many special memories have been made in the mountains on our annual ski & board trips to Big Bear & Mammoth. In those moments warming up in the hot tub after a long day or connecting with someone new on the chairlift, we’ve grown together 🥰

Since we’re not hosting big mountain trips this year, we wanted to bring a little bit of that après energy to LA. ❄️

Justin is a rollerblader with a passion for space exploration, dancing, woodworking, & cooking!
He is proudly from the backwoods on the Beast Coast (aka Connecticut 😉) but has found his home and community here in LA with the Hunnies!

Whether he’s showing off his favorite skate move, the crazy, or rolling through the streets of LA at one of our iconic rollouts, he’s always down to SEND IT and be there for his fellow Hunnies community members.
