The ice and snow are still on the ground but it's only 6 more weekends until spring!

Looking back today at one of our favorite fall weddings. Kamryn and Chris' intimate family-focused wedding was held on a beautiful September day and we loved every minute of it. The love these two have is truly couple-goals and we wish them all the best in the years to come!

What happens when one of your favorite local photographers and small farm florist collides with some of our favorite people for a wedding? A BEAUTIFUL event - that's what!

This fall we were honored to be the wedding venue to a wonderful bride we've known for many years and her very lucky groom.

Virginia Koontz Photography captured the beautiful event and HOH Farms provided the flowers. It was a perfect day we will remember forever.

All this rain has us dreaming of warmer and drier days. The Cooney wedding was so lovely this past fall. We can't wait for wedding season to open back up in 2026!

And just like that our wedding season comes to an end...

We did around 20 weddings this year, ranging from elopements to small intimate ceremonies (one memorable one in Greenlee Tavern in January with Mayor Frank Reeves officiating) to beautiful 100-200 guest weddings at our arch (last week's decorations pictured below), large weddings with beautiful tents on our lawn, and finally a small ceremony and reception in our stable this afternoon to close the season.

When I think about why couples choose Mountain Run I often think about our affordability (weddings here are $4000 on average and if you are booking something smaller or during the week it can be just $200-$300! We had one bride who confided after her wedding that she didn't think she was going to be able to have a beautiful wedding because so many nice venues are so expensive...but then she found us and her wedding was stunning.

But its really not about the price...its about how people feel when they are here. I (David) personally do all the wedding tours, and my parents John & Carol work the bar. My wife Kayti handles a lot of the Day Of Coordinating. Its literally a family business, and since the weddings here take place in and around my home, we really do want our guests to have the best event possible.

Our family-based team isn't doing this as a job...we are doing this because this is our chosen lifestyle and we genuinely want to welcome strangers to our farm, get to know them, and ensure that they receive the same level of care we would give to one of our own family members.

It doesn't hurt that we have a really uniquely authentic venue (our dance-barn was built in 1902!) that is absolutely magical at night, but when it comes down to it, the magic of Mountain Run is as much in the people as it is in the place.

Cheers to the 2025 wedding season and here's looking forward to the (nearly fully booked) 2026 season! Just about every Saturday and Sunday in 2026 will have an event, music, LARP group or wedding (or, as usual, multiple simultaneous diverse event bookings across the many venues at our farm)!

When a florist gets married you get to enjoy ALL the flowers! Such a gorgeous set up for the ceremony today. We loved every minute of this beautiful (and fun!) event.

This was such a fun wedding ceremony (reception was off-site - YES we do that too!!!)! All the details were so unique to the couple and we just enjoyed the whole event so much. Congrats again to an amazing couple!
