Helo Friends Hw r u...i just wanted to inform you that, the parcel of land we are parked in, is sold and it has got a new owner.
400 houses will be built behind it.
The willow shade nursery is going to close and will be operated from their house until they will find a new location. And for the same reason we have to find a new location as well. Let me know if you have any idea or advise for us.
Don't know what to write, Jessica has explained the situation very well. (Please check the forwarded message)
Also she is now giving discounts on the plants, please come and avail it.
Thank you & have a wonderful day

The struggle to write/type this has been absolutely real. Over and over starting to write, erasing, rewriting then purposely getting sidetracked by things that also need to be done to avoid the rollercoaster. The rollercoaster of emotions, and how do I begin, what do I say. Going over it in my head sounds great. There’s emotion but not too much, it’s subtle and witty and in line making perfect sense. Then as I start to lay my thoughts out, all the words that were perfectly lined up, gone in an instant. I guess you would call that writers block, my husband calls it procrastination. Lol
However, As I ramble on about the inner workings of my brain and my inner monologue, I am still only postponing the inevitable, the sentence that makes all the talk, the sleepless nights, all the prayers and seeking a reality. We have made the decision to close the nursery.
There are many moving parts to this decision and a lot of the moving parts have been out of our control despite our best efforts. However we feel God is saying it is time. As some of you know our entrance is going to become a road. This road will lead back to a development of townhouses and single family homes. We have known this for some time and at first it was not going to affect us in a negative way. Sadly as plans have changed, ownerships have changed and what they are now requiring the builders to do, we will not be able to sustain the cost of operating while the road closes for the better part of a month or more and then all the construction that will follow after.
At the end of the day Willow Shade Nursery will still be operating, just not as a brick and mortar place where you are able to come and shop. Until we find a new location we will be storing material and operating from home. Still doing clean ups and installs and Still creating our stunning planters.
Are we heartbroken, absolutely. Defeated, sometimes it feels like that, but we’re not. Do we understand it all. No, but we know there are greater things needing our attention and God has had us in his hands the entire time and will continue to guide us to where he wants us to be. It’s just not here anymore.
With that we have 2 months left here so welcome to our end of the season sale.
