Story time....
I met David at a photography conference two years ago in Louisville, Kentucky. We had been hired by the same company to work the booth at the tradeshow.
We met with the team for dinner and started to make introductions. David introduces himself and says that he is from Tampa. I look at him surprised and say "No way. I am from Crystal River".
Small world. Flew all the way to Kentucky and happened to be working with someone for the week who was an hour away from me the whole time.
We ended up working 2 more events together that first year (Vegas and St Louis). We worked 2 more events together last year (Dallas and Vegas). We hung out a bit a few weeks ago at another conference in Nashville. We chat and text fairly often... We have talked about doing a dinner with the wives, but have not had a chance to do it.
When I posted the trip for Colorado a few weeks ago, David messaged me and asked if he could join with his wife. He wanted to do some behind the scenes videos and I offered to photograph him and his wife.
So they jumped on the flight and hung out for the day in Colorado. Here is what I captured for them.
The crazy thing is we still have not hung out together in Florida. We have only hung out in other states 🤣
