Last night was the kick off for the Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive with a welcome reception at the renowned Smoke House Restaurant in Burbank. Today begins Day 1 of LAFCI at C.O.W. Studios, so stay tuned for more!

You guys… I want to build a venue.. custom for all event needs with lighting so perfect it would be a videographer and photographers dream to shoot there 😍 and with the perfect sound setup big enough for concerts.. live bands, full orchestra, live to picture, everything. 💭

Separate break out rooms for parties or session workshops, band green rooms to perfect bridal suites…

I’ve got big plans, so get ready!

I wasn’t able to make it to Thailand for the summer session of Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive, but super excited to share this!!

Los Angeles based movie-music studio maestro Angel Velez, one of the most sought after conductors of film music concerts in the world today, will be bringing his special brand of stage magic to the podium of the Thailand Cultural Centre this coming Friday 7th July at 7:30 pm. Together with the wonderful Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, “A Night In Hollywood” will be a rare and quite unique collaboration between the RBSO and Velez’s inspired groundbreaking industry developing initiative ‘Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive’ (LAFCI), with ten super talented multinational up-and-coming film-music composers that he has meticulously mentored conducting their own original screen scores in the first half of the concert. Angel Velez himself will then direct the second half in his own inimitably charismatic fashion, infused with an electrifying energy that delights audiences the world over. This celebration of the incredible sound-track heritage of Hollywood’s silver-screen treasure trove will include Raiders of the Lost Ark, Hedwig’s Theme from Harry Potter, The Magnificent Seven, Suite from Black Panther, E.T.’s Adventures on Earth, Star Wars, and many more blockbusters.
