We are thrilled to announce our beloved faculty member, Nina, is opening her very own studio in Broussard! If you have any friends or family in the area seeking dance education, please spread the word about arisestudio.dance! We’re so proud of you, Nina!

Hi everyone, I’m so excited to introduce myself! My name is Angelina Somsy and I’m the owner of Arise Studio of Dance. I have always dreamed of opening my own dance studio and share a passion that is near to my heart. I have been dancing since I was little and have my Bachelors in Performing Arts from ULL. My hope is to create a dance studio that brings light to our young dancers!

I’m so thankful for this opportunity and I can’t wait until we open our doors! For more information, keep an eye out for our website opening soon and July summer camp classes!

Dance History ✨
Today we’re celebrating the legendary Bob Fosse, whose unmistakable style forever changed jazz dance, Broadway, and film. His attention to detail from the wrist to the shoulder, the hat, the pause, and the storytelling is a reminder that every movement matters.

At Core Dance Center, we love introducing our dancers to the artists who shaped the world of dance.

Register today and join us for our 40th season!
