Go check The Daily Barre! 💙🩵🩷
Hey guys! It’s been a minute and the number of new members is exciting so I wanted to re-introduce myself!
Hi! It’s me, Dawn! I own the building on Genesis Rd with the stunning new mural from , which is home to DailyBarre, Crossville’s very own barre studio! Have you been by yet? Let me tell you a little bit about DailyBarre…
First, we are 4 years old! Crazy! We started about 6 months before the world shut down for COVID 😷 and we made it through that crazy time. This studio idea started when I was back home in South Dakota with my husband and 2 kids and a girlfriend just started her own barre studio so I took a couple of classes and thought, why not? Barre hadn’t really made it to Crossville quite yet, there were 1 or 2 classes taught at different places, but it was never a focus. As I got more mature in years 😉, I realized that my body isn’t indestructible and I needed something that was effective but nice to my body…enter barre!!!
So, what is barre? It is a combo of pilates, yoga and ballet…but, I am not a dancer, so don’t get scared with that last one. We use anywhere from 1 - 5 pounds weights in a traditional barre class and focus on the tiny muscles in the body which help support that bigger muscles. Barre is about toning and elongating your muscles, not bulking up. We do full range motions, but we also L❤️VE to pulse, hold and circle…which means we will challenge your muscles. Don’t be fooled, it is those little movements that really bring the 🔥. In every barre class you have strength training, flexibility, and mobility. It is a full body workout and we don’t leave a body part untouched.
Over the course of the 4 years we have been in Crossville, we have gained the most amazing instructors with decades of combined teaching experience and we have found the perfect blend of classes. Wanting to hold true to our name, DailyBarre, the majority of our classes are barre inspired, some just have a twist to them. We have also added in yoga classes which helps with the flexibility and mobility of barre and it really helps stretch out your muscles even more after barre classes.
All of our classes are perfectly designed for the beginner and advanced fitness person in each class. We always say, move at your pace and we will always show you modifications for any movement. High school students, women 8 months pregnant, women post heart and back surgery, Grandma’s, the newest retirees moving to Crossville and everyone inbetween are all members at DailyBarre. We offer classes at all times of the day, from 5am to 5pm Monday thru Friday, with a couple of classes on the weekends.
Our website (www.dailybarre.com) has everything you need to know and where you go to sign up for your classes. This week we started a $20 one week unlimited package for those of you new to the studio. Take any (or all) of our 20 classes we offer in a week, for only $20. We want you to get a good feel of the studio and think this is the perfect way to do that!
