Okayyy, I’ve been sitting on these long enough. 😅

The Bloom & Brook fall and holiday workshop lineup is officially HERE and registration is OPEN!

I’ve been working on these for a while because I really wanted each one to be completely different. Not six versions of sitting around a table making a flower arrangement.

We’re starting with a whole night dedicated to dahlias, going dark and a little weird for Halloween 🖤, telling hunting season to Buck Off, Let’s Bloom 🦌, making something beautiful for the Thanksgiving table, bringing back Mommy & Me for Christmas, and then we’re decking the halls with a giant gorgeous garland because apparently I have no chill. 🫣😂

I know a bunch of you have been waiting for that one.
And speaking of Christmas…

I’ve decided we’re going a little bigger around here this year. (No chill remember 😂)

You can already stop in for pumpkins and mums this fall and when Christmas rolls around…

WE’RE SELLING CHRISTMAS TREES + POINSETTIAS. 🎄

Yep. Christmas trees. I’m doing it. 😂

I have so many ideas for this place and I just keep deciding to try them. So here we go. I mean, I’ll never know if I don’t try, right?

A final tribute, built entirely around the life he lived. 💛

He was a man who was known and loved throughout his community. Someone who left his mark on a whole lot of people. He loved big equipment and he loved colorful flowers, so when his family asked me to bring those pieces of him together, this is what we created.

Dirty old trucks that already held memories, filled with bright, joyful flowers chosen just for him.

My favorite part of what I do is getting to create pieces like these, the unique, meaningful ones that tell a little bit of someone’s story. The ones that make you look at them and immediately know, “That’s him.”

It was an honor to create these pieces in celebration of a life that meant so much to so many. 💛🖤

A note from the Welty family 🤍

For those wishing to send flowers for the upcoming service, the Welty family would like to share that Bloom & Brook will be handling floral tributes.

If you would like to send something in his memory, you are welcome to call or message me directly to place an order. I will take care of coordinating all delivery details with the funeral home.

My heart is with the entire Welty family during this unimaginable loss. It is an incredible honor to be trusted with something so meaningful and I will be taking the greatest care with every piece created in his memory. 🤍

This one will stay with me for a long time.

When I sat down with this family, we talked about who these two were individually, but also about the beautiful life they had lived so closely together. I knew I wanted the flowers to tell both parts of that story.

His side was designed in whites and greens. Hers in soft lavenders and purples. Two completely different sides, each with their own personality.

And then in the middle, I married them together.

Bright whites begin to cross between the two, willow branches reach toward one another and English ivy tangles together as it meets in the middle, intertwining the two designs until they become one.

That was the part that mattered most to me.

They were each their own person, with their own life and their own story. But for so much of it, their lives were intertwined.

The companion piece carried that story and the standing spray and individual photo surrounds were designed to carry pieces of each of them throughout the rest of the service.

I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with this family and to have been trusted with something this personal. Getting to know a little bit about the people behind the flowers and then finding a way to tell their story through what I create is one of the most special parts of my work.

This was him. This was her. And right there in the middle was them. 🤍

You guys. 🥹 My heart is SO full… and so was the Pick Your Own patch today. 🌸

Seeing so many of you out there picking your favorites, building bouquets, laughing and enjoying the flowers was just… magic.

It’s been an emotional week over here, in the best way. I’ve had so many moments lately where I’ve had to stop and just take it all in. The support, the kind words, the people showing up, sharing my posts, trusting me with their flowers and cheering me on… I am just so incredibly grateful. More than I could ever put into words. 🥹🤍

I planted this patch hoping people would come out and enjoy it, but actually standing there and watching it happen today was something else. 🥹

Thank you, thank you, thank you for showing up for and helping me make my dreams come true and for making this little flower patch feel so darn special. 💐🩷🫶🏼

What a week. What a morning. My heart is BEYOND full.

Meet Lexie! 🌸

You may have already seen this girl around Bloom & Brook, but it’s time for an official introduction!

Lexie has joined me in the flower chaos and has been helping with everything from processing flowers and keeping the studio moving to- as pictured - picking some of the prettiest blooms from the patch. 💐

I’m SO thankful for all her help and excited to have her here as Bloom & Brook continues to grow!

This one felt a little closer to home. 🤎

This tribute was created for a family friend, someone whose family hunted alongside mine over the years. It wasn’t until I began working on his flowers that I realized just how connected our families actually were.

Antlers. Woodland textures. Grasses. Earthy fall tones. And a piece that held so many hunting memories right at the center.

Sometimes I’m handed flowers to arrange. And sometimes I’m handed pieces of someone’s life and trusted to make them belong together. Make it feel like them.

Those are the ones that mean the most.

Made for a life well lived, and a story worth remembering. 🤎
