👻 GUEST SPOTLIGHT — Shari DeBenedetti & Jason Hawes/TAPS 👻

Cripple Creek ParaCon 2027 is bringing some serious paranormal experience to the mountains of Colorado! We’re excited to welcome Shari DeBenedetti and Jason Hawes, two familiar faces to fans of paranormal television and longtime investigators of the unexplained!

📺 JASON HAWES

Jason Hawes is one of the most recognizable names in modern paranormal investigation. As a founder of The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) and the longtime lead investigator of Ghost Hunters, Jason helped introduce millions of viewers to a more methodical style of paranormal investigation.

When Ghost Hunters premiered on the Sci-Fi Channel in 2004, Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson took viewers inside reportedly haunted homes, businesses and historic locations while attempting to document—and sometimes debunk—the activity being reported.

The series became a major part of the paranormal television boom and helped turn TAPS into one of the best-known paranormal investigation organizations in the world. Jason has spent decades investigating claims of hauntings and unexplained phenomena, traveling throughout the United States and abroad.

His television work is most closely associated with:

👻 Ghost Hunters
👻 Ghost Hunters International appearances
👻 Numerous paranormal television specials, interviews and investigations

Beyond television, Jason has also been involved in paranormal events, lectures and books dealing with his experiences investigating the unexplained.

🔦 SHARI DeBENEDETTI

Fans of the later seasons of Ghost Hunters will immediately recognize Shari DeBenedetti.

Shari became a prominent investigator on the series and has participated in investigations at reportedly haunted locations across the country alongside Jason Hawes and the TAPS team.

Her approach combines curiosity with a willingness to question what investigators are experiencing. Rather than assuming every strange noise, shadow or unexplained occurrence is paranormal, the goal is to investigate the possibilities and search for evidence.

Together, Jason and Shari have explored some incredible locations and investigated reports ranging from unexplained voices and apparitions to physical disturbances and claims of intelligent activity.

And now they're coming to CRIPPLE CREEK, COLORADO! ⛏️👻

Imagine talking paranormal investigation with two people who have spent years walking into reportedly haunted buildings after dark, trying to determine what's really happening.

And there may be no better setting than Cripple Creek—a historic Colorado mining town filled with stories of mines, outlaws, lawmen, tragedy, fortunes won and lost…and more than a few ghost stories. 👻

The doors of Wilson Castle are opening once again, and we couldn’t be more excited to return to its darkened halls to host another unforgettable paranormal experience for Come Alive Outside!

When the sun goes down and the castle grows quiet, we’ll turn off the lights, break out the paranormal equipment, and see what — or who — may still be wandering the halls. 🔦👀

This year, we’re excited to welcome Wayward Spirits Paranormal Society as they join us for the first time to help with this special event! We truly appreciate them coming aboard and lending their time, experience, and passion for the paranormal to the evening.

And a HUGE thank you to our friend Paranormal Nut for once again being there to help us out! Your support means so much, and we love having you along for these crazy paranormal adventures. 👻🖤

Most importantly, thank you to Come Alive Outside for giving us the opportunity to host this event again. We’re looking forward to giving everyone a night inside Wilson Castle they won’t soon forget.

The equipment is ready.
The castle is waiting.
And when the lights go out… we’ll find out if we’re really alone. 👻🏰
