Grease & Glitter: Don’t quit your daydreams
After decades of working in restaurants and bars across the U.S.; Ian and Ayla have started their newest adventure: Grease & Glitter!! We are an inventive, high-energy, ever changing food and bar cart focusing on....FUN! We believe we truly make people’s lives better with each bite followed by a refreshing sip, and of course a big smile.
The sassy Chef, Ian Scott, specializes in using the season’s bounty and freshness in ingredients. He particularly shines through his creations of elegant comfort food dishes. Ian attended NECI in Vermont where he was classically french trained. From there, he has worked in restaurants that range from high-end, fine dining French bistros, casual, hip eateries, to dive bars creating upscale bar foods. Alas, he is able to put all of his inspirations, experiences, and ideas together to form the “Grease” part of this living, breathing business.
The charming bartendress will charm the pants right off of you, if her drinks don’t do it first! Ayla Scott, forming the “Glitter” of Grease & Glitter, has worked in restaurants and bars since she was a wee lass. She has been published locally in Crested Butte, as well as in the Denver area for her inventive, yet balanced, cocktail creations. She can shake it like you’ve never seen! Mingling, laughing, cheersing, and having an overall elevated fun time at your events is her specialty. She is not a bartendress that will be sitting on the sidelines at your event; but rather, the sparkle your party is looking for.
Grease & Glitter can add that unique “pop” that you never knew you wanted at any event. Weddings, festivals, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, graduation parties, get- togethers, camping trips that you just don’t want to plan out...you name it and we will bring it! Not only will we provide unique cuisine and beverages to your event, but also very visually appealing set ups and outfits. We like to describe ourselves as “lifestyle” caterers. We will be the caterers that help mingle the party, yet still go unnoticed; we will add an element of “OooOOoo’s” and “Aaahhhhh’s”....let us show you.
