Burlap and Twine Burlap and Twine offers homemade desserts and meals and also party/event planning and home decorating Hi everyone, my name is Kristen Crockett.

In September of 2022, my family and I took the leap of faith in allowing me to resign from my full-time job in order to stay home full-time with my three sons. In February of 2023, this business began to be born by offering desserts for the holidays and grew rapidly from there. Now, I offer a weekly meal and homemade desserts. Hey everyone! I was hoping to offer an item for the Memorial Day holiday, but while we were in Florida, we started some renovation work in our home. Some of the projects are behind, and our home is still a construction zone, so the kitchen will be closed for a little longer. I will update accordingly. Thank you to everyone for your patience. 💛🍋

Hey everyone! I have had a lot of people ask me if I will be at Spring on the Square this Saturday, May 4th. Unfortunately, I will not be setup as I have been going through some internal health issues, but I am almost recovered. 🙌🏻 Also, with the heat, I take an extreme risk of my desserts melting.
It’s bittersweet for sure, because last year’s Spring on the Square was my debut to the community who has shown immense support to me and the day the name Burlap and Twine was birthed. ❤️ I love you all and encourage you all to show up and show out for the amazing vendors that have put in the hard work and time to be there this weekend. We have an amazing community of vendors, artists, cooks, creators, and I’m so blessed to be apart of that community now. ❤️ With Love, Kristen

I dropped my numbers from 202 to 134😍
I will always remember the surprised expression on my doctor’s face when I entered his office for my yearly checkup.

He asked, “Are you using that “Exotic Rice Method” your sister recommended?!”

I explained that I had been using it for the past few months and how it has improved my life and health.

It’s a bit unusual, but it’s effective!

Even nurses noticed my transformation and asked how I achieved it at my age.
