Magdalena Events & Design is a full service event planning & design company in New England, the Berkshires and Hudson Valley that specializes in unique weddings and personal events. Our services include wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, engagement parties, anniversaries as well as birthday parties, baby showers, reunions, holiday or cocktail parties for any occa

sion. Magdalena has been planning events and designing spaces for as long as she can remember. Finally, 3 years ago she decided to combine her two passions and created an events company. She strives to foster a unique relationship with her clients and will work hard to realize their deepest dreams for their event. Magdalena has been known for her calm approach not only in the most chaotic situations but also when everything inside you tells you ‘I can’t do it’ – You will look to her and know everything is under control.

Magdalena lives in the Berkshires but is happy to travel almost anywhere.

Being a wedding planner means wearing a hundred hats, solving problems before anyone notices them, and caring deeply about every little detail- but getting to create meaningful experiences for my couples makes every second worth it.

No two tables looked the same- and that was the whole point. Jon & Marc’s reception was a feast for the eyes before the first course even arrived. From dusty lavender linens with teal runners to deep plum paired with hot pink, each table told its own story while the wildflower centerpieces tied it all together. Cornflowers, billy balls, thistles, and clematis spilling out of every vase, effortlessly gathered, endlessly gorgeous. This is what happens when you throw out the rulebook and just play.

The Magic of a woodsy wedding ceremony.
Intimate, grounded, and unforgettable.

The towering trees become your cathedral, sunlight filters through the leaves like stained glass, and every breath feels softer, deeper, more intentional. Nature creates a kind of stillness that no ballroom ever could.

Every detail of this cake felt alive! From the way the fresh fruit cascades down each tier to the anthurium blooms and scattered raspberries- this cake had movement. It was less of a wedding cake and more of a work of art.
And the flavors? Absolutely unforgettable.
🍊 Bottom tier: Raspberry jam, whipped rose water mascarpone mousse, crushed pistachios & saffron buttercream
🍫 Top tier: Chocolate cardamom cake, passion fruit curd, dark chocolate sea salt mousse & passion fruit caramel buttercream.

Cherry on top of the cake.

This wedding afterparty turned into something unforgettable, a full-on underground Berlin vibe in the middle of a barn. We washed the space in deep red and purple light, dropped in spinning disco balls, and suddenly the whole room was alive with sparkle.

Good music, late-night energy, tasty snacks, and fun drinks flowing nonstop… the kind of night where no one wants it to end.

And of course, it didn’t… they kept it going into the after-after party at the glamping village just next door. Campfires, cozy tents, and stories from the night before.

Pure magic from start to sunrise.

Golden hour, but make it cocktail hour!

Out here in the Catskills with the most beautiful views, fresh air, and the dreamiest outdoor setup. Guests mingling, drinks flowing, and the snacks absolutely stealing the show (seriously… we’re still thinking about them).

Amalfi dreaming…This table scape was designed to feel like a long, slow dinner somewhere along the Italian coast- fresh lemons scattered between clusters of white ranunculus and garden roses, flickering candlelight, sage green plates, and linen napkins printed with delicate botanicals.
