Blue Skys Farm is a one acre chemical-free herb and flower farm in Cranston, Rhode Island. We farm on a shared, cooperatively-managed space with 16 other farms on 50 acres in western Cranston. Blue Skys Blooms’ mission: to have flowers become a way of life for everyone! We want to share the beauty and happiness that flowers bring to a home.

You may be asking, Why flowers? What’s so great about flowers?

There have been a lot of studies done about the psychological benefits of having fresh flowers in the home. When we regularly have fresh flower bouquets in our home… We feel less stressed and agitated. We have less worry and anxiety, and feel less depressed. We have more compassion and kindness for others. This data is from studies conducted by Rutgers University, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Harvard Medical School.

But why OUR flowers? Our flowers are chemical-free and pesticide free. Our carbon footprint is much lower than conventional florists, and we practice responsible land stewardship and utilize recycled packaging products whenever possible.

So we hope you consider supporting your local farmer-florist! You’ll soon be able to buy single bouquets, and right now you can sign up for a weekly or biweekly flower subscription.
