We kindly request that all participants are expected to abide by general behavior guidelines.

Individuals operating a truck, car, tractor, or any other type of vehicle in the parade must possess a valid driver’s license and proper insurance and must be 18 years of age or older.

No candy can be thrown. Candy can only be handed to people along the parade route by people 18 years of age or older.

Once the parade starts you may not enter or leave the vehicle, float or whatever position you are in. I.e. if you start the parade walking, you may not enter a vehicle partially down the route.

Entrants recognize The Forest County Christmas Parade Group does not automatically endorse the views, representations, and behaviors of parade participants.

All entries with live animals are responsible for immediately cleaning up after their animals.

Animals must be of nature that noise and excitement will not frighten them.

No alcohol is allowed to be consumed by or in possession by parade participants.

Entries with children under the age of 18 must have adult supervision.

Upon completing the parade route, you must immediately turn right onto Glen Street, remove all passengers from your float, secure any loose items, and obey all traffic laws from there on out.

PLEASE NOTE: Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus will once again be at the end of the parade. We kindly suggest that entrants refrain from having a live Santa on their float. Please help keep the magic alive for the kids of Forest County. Thank you

Todays the day!

Happy first day of Spring! We hope you are staying warm and thawing out nicely today!

This feels a little crazy to be posting, but our first 2025 Forest County Christmas Parade Planning Meeting will take place on Wednesday April 9th at 6:00 PM at the American Legion Post 94 in Crandon.

We will be using this meeting to discuss a few key items:
-Confirm our 2025 date & start application process
-How we want to decide 2025 Grand Marshall
-How we want to decide our 2025 theme
-Our float for the Summer parades
-How we want to to get great volunteers
-Set our 2025 meeting schedule

We are always looking for anyone who is willing to volunteer their time, we would love some more committee members but we also need general volunteers that are used when needed (especially the day of the event in December). We also have a Facebook group used for planning purposes in case you would like to be involved but cannot attend.

Please feel free to tag anyone who might be interested!
