I’m back—and with a brand new rhythm!

After taking this past year to step away and focus on my family and my work in education, I’ve realized how much I missed the creative spark of photography. I’m so excited to announce that Amanda McDermott Photography is returning!

To make sure I keep that spark alive without the overwhelm, I’m restructuring how I work. Moving forward, I’ll be prioritizing my personal life by focusing primarily on Summer Sessions. Aligning my business with the non-teaching months allows me to give you my absolute best creative energy while staying present for the things I love most. I can’t wait to get back behind the lens and see you all in the summer light!

Happy Spring! After a lot of thought and consideration I have a new plan to move forward with. I love getting to watch families grow, and couples start their life together and being a part of all of the amazing moments a photographer gets to experience.

But moving forward I really want to specialize in the sessions I love the most. Outdoor Stlyized Senior sessions. I LOVE Senior photography and I love making it a memory that lasts a lifetime. I plan to take on other projects that are fun and creative so please still send me your ideas for creative outdoor photo sessions that we can collaborate on and make fun. But I really want to focus on seniors!
