Few morning of pointers the day of your wedding!

1. Eat a REAL breakfast!
2. Steam all garments the night
• before the wedding.
3. Wear a robe or button down to avoid messing up your hair & makeup.
4. Lay out your items for detail shots AHEAD of time to avoid stress.
5. Keep drinking straws handy so you can hydrate without messing up your lipstick
6. Leave your phone in your room or give it to someone you trust. Be
FULLY present!
7. Have a getting ready playlist
• prepped.
8. Build in buffer time! Hair & makeup always takes longer than expected.
9. Bring tissues EVERYWHERE!
10. Do a private look with yourself!

Random little things I've learned that can help on wedding day

- Chalk can help cover up make up on a white dress
- Use eyelash glue to keep a necklace in place
- Always have a rag in the wedding suite to dry off the bouquets before ceremony or pictures
- Gift bridesmaids bags, or bring extra bags because you'll want to tidy up the wedding suite before the photographer arrives
- You can never have enough corsage pins and safety pins
- have your family sit on the oposite side at the ceremony so they can see you during your vows
- have your dance floor in the center of the venue to keep all of your guests connected during the reception.
-having a decorator allows you the moments for you to be present for every memory over the whole weekend ♥️

I have things my peeps!!
New 2026+ Weddings read along……

Thank you everyone that has supported my business over the years! I am going to be adding a couple of new “options” to my business to help those of you planning a wedding but don’t need the day of decorators, but may just need a hand with decor. I have calls weekly of brides inquiring and I HATE having to turn people away if I’m already booked.
This is an alternative….. If you love to decorate and have great people willing to help you with the time it takes to put it all together the day before or the day of and help you pack up at the end, I do have new pricing where we still meet, create your vision, I do all the work prepping flowers, washing glass items, creating you vision, pack it all up for you BUT you utilize your people to do the day of decorating and at the end pack up.
This may seem impossible! BUT I have my business down to a science and I know it’s an option to save you some money. Now, I won’t be getting rid of my “original deal”, I still will offer “doing it all” but with the cost of florals rising, (a lot) candles (a lot), fuel, all the little things, this can help with the rising costs and making it more affordable. It would be like an all inclusive rental, I do all the work prepping, still meeting creating your vision, pack it up with instructions and you use your people.

It’s so much more than a wedding, or decorating for me. My brides become my friends. Brett & Tami (MOB) im sure going to miss but will definitely have to keep in touch.

Brett & Brayden had a difficult ride of an engagement. They had venue “adjustments” to say the least. In the end it was amazing and they are married!
I was so excited when she showed me her “moody, romantic, western” inspo. I’m pretty obsessed how it all turned out.

Abbie, Aly, Hunter thank you for helping pull the day together! Knocked it out girls! Aric & Brennan for being my muscles at clean up (&Abbie) appreciate you guys!

This was such a fun wedding to be apart of. They incorporated moments I havent seen before at weddings which made it stand out to me!Mackenzie is a past Creighton Dance team member. She and her Creighton Dancers performed during the reception! Another fun moment, the couple used a bar area and served ice cream to their guests. It was such a hit!
Their colors were blues, and she asked her guests to wear blue to the wedding which was so fun to see. Blue China or Blue toile we incorporated in touches of the design of her reception. You have to look though the notes of the pictures to see her fun ideas she did during the night!

Thank yous once again to my girls and guy 😉 Aric (muscles and tire changer) Lauren, Kelly, Emily, Abigail, love you guys!

These two met 6 years ago at my Barn! You could not deny the sparks. After years of getting to know each other, a cute little farm place, proud parents to an adorable pup Bailey…these two finally tied the knot! ❤️ They are two of my favorite people and I am so very happy for them!

Megan chose browns and terracotta for her fall wedding. So many feels at this wedding, rustic cozy boho bash! My favorite area was the cozy couch area and cigar “Barr”! It was a hit. With an itinerary of the evening on each table, the Cigar Barr opened from 8:30-9:30 after the band had started! This was one party for the books. It was such a privilege to decorate for the Witt and Barr families! Love you all!
The first time I was ever asked to do a head table for the wedding party and all of their significant others, I thought wow that’s going to be a large head table. It worked out perfectly. Actually…LOVED how it all turned out!

Kelly, Lauren, Michelle & Abbie — you are the best! You all bring your own feels to the design and it always comes together perfectly! Love you guys! Brody, Abbie, Shane Barr, Rod & Nikki Schmidt thank you for filling in helping me pack up with Doug being out. I so appreciate your help!! Thank you Thank you all!

It has almost been a year since my daughter got married in Superior, MT. I never posted her pictures!! Here are a few of my favorite from that day. A couple of cool things she did that was unique was taking my wedding dress from 1998 and having them made into getting ready robes for her and my granddaughter who was the flower girl. (Thank you Karen Ahrens, Oakland Ne) she also surprised Erin, Brayden’s mom and I by asking us to sign the marriage license ❤️ this was so special to us that they asked us to do that!

Something I have been recently offering is bridal bouquets, boutonnières and corsages for my weddings. All artificial, I’m picky and order flowers that look as real as possible. You pay my design/assembly fee, also the cost of the flowers to assemble. Still in the end will be less than a florist! The awesome thing about it is that you can resale after the wedding because you own them!

olivia and sam asked for elegant, and simple. she chose blush and ivory for her colors that was soft and romantic. so enjoyed working with these two. so laid back and always would answer with “we trust you” when I would ask for their input. so much love and kind hearts between these two! i think their adorable little lincoln man most likely stole the show! 💙 congratulations to you three! so happy for you! cheers to the gubbels!!
