With today being Giving Tuesday, we just want to say Thank You to everyone who has already started giving towards our Roller Skating rink! Another person just donated $100 and we appreciate it so much. Every dollar is going towards getting this rink up and running as soon as possible. As you saw in our last post, there is an auction in Maryland tomorrow morning (5/20) where a business is selling a bunch of equipment including their Rink floor and skates! This is an opportunity for us to procure the needed equipment at a fraction of the cost for brand new equipment. Any money left over from purchasing the rink and skates at auction will be used toward the hundred other things needed to make a great skating rink (speakers, DJ booth, disco ball, electrical work, dividers, etc.). Nothing will be wasted!
