Our owners are Dennis and Cyndi Roe, lifelong residents of Tipton County with lots of experience in event planning. These are just two of the phrases used to describe The Manor at Mount Carmel. Encased by two gorgeous oak trees, the grand Manor sits atop a grassy knoll at the end of an expansive country drive. A short drive northeast of Memphis, Tennessee, this magnificent home was originally built in 1908. Located on a 20-acre property just south of Covington, Tennessee, this project has been a long-time dream for the owners: Lisa and Norman Hendren. Entirely family-owned and operated, The Manor at Mount Carmel offers flexible options for all of your event planning needs. Meet Olivia and Logan, we are excited to celebrate with them and their families this weekend.

It all started in middle school when we were just friends who sat next to each other in class, but it wasn’t until years later that God crossed our paths again in March 2022 on a Spring Break trip.
Fast forward to October of that year, after Tennessee’s unforgettable win over Alabama, we rushed the field together. Go Vols!!! Somewhere in the middle of all the excitement, we made it official. 🧡 From that night on, we have been pretty much inseparable. Last November we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Walker Lynn, and our love multiplied more than we could ever imagine.
It’s hard not to believe that God was working behind the scenes all along from a middle school friendship, to a Tennessee win in Neyland, and now on 10.10.2026 we get to start our next chapter together!!!! 🤍💒💍

He asked to be his girlfriend at our favorite Mexican restaurant on October 20, 2020 and the rest is history. On June 16, he proposed to me at Inlet Beach in Florida & I said yes to forever.

We have grown so much together the last 6 years & have created a beautiful life full of so much love and laughter. We raise his 5 year old son who has became such an important part of my life as well. We can’t wait for this next chapter and to create many new memories together.” -Jamee

“From a simple seat on a University of Memphis bus to our forever.

We met on February 9, 2023, on our way to Atlanta for a Greek Life conference. What started as a conversation and a few laughs slowly became something so much more. On April 16, 2023, we officially began our journey together.

On October 7, 2025, in the mountains of Gatlinburg, we said yes to forever.

Now, we’re counting down the days until we celebrate our love with the people who have supported us every step of the way.

🌟Wedding Wednesday🌟

“We met on May 19, 2022 at The Wilds—a Christian camp where many high schoolers from all over the South went for their senior trip! Neither of us were planning on talking to the other kids at the camp and were just planning on talking to the people in our class, but the day before camp ended, we met each other. We realized that Austin's name was my last name and that our birthdays are only 5 days apart! In that moment we couldn't believe we had so much in common with one another. After we met that afternoon, we got each other's social media and phone numbers. We weren't allowed to have our phone at the camp, so we had to write it down. The next day when we got our phones back, I (Tabitha) immediately added him on Snapchat! Right away, we began to text and FaceTime-something we still do every single day! Everyone told us that it probably wouldn't work out since we lived 10 hours from each other, but four years later here we are! It hasn't been easy, but we know that God brought us together that Thursday at camp. After we had been texting and calling each other, Austin asked me to be his girlfriend just 10 days after we met—when you know, you know! And a month after that, he came to Memphis to visit me for the first time. Ever since, we have travelled back and forth every few months to see each other, and we can't wait to be together forever!”
