So here's my thanksgiving cake...it's not ur usual vanilla or chocolate cake... This is a Spice cake with Cranberry compote...not your typical flavor but I thought it was just right for thanksgiving....it's flavors just screams fall! Nutmeg, cinnamon, All spice, brown sugar, cranberry and the luscious silky sweetness of the brown sugar Swiss meringue buttercream balances the tartness of the cranberry. I really enjoyed making this cake.
