Hello, Whidbey! 🎄 Happy Monday!

Many of you have been messaging me asking about mini sessions, so I wanted to share a little more about them!

In general, I don’t offer mini sessions because I believe in creating a high-quality experience where we have plenty of time to get comfortable, relax, and capture genuine connections and beautiful moments together. 🤍

The exception? Christmas! ✨

This is the one time of year when I offer themed mini sessions Good Boy Farms. It’s the perfect opportunity to update your family portraits and, of course, create beautiful images for your Christmas cards! 🎁📸

This year, I’m offering Christmas mini sessions a little earlier in the season. My goal is for you to enjoy hopefully not-too-cold weather 😉, have a relaxed experience, and receive your images with plenty of time to order and send out your holiday cards.

🎄 CHRISTMAS MINI SESSION DETAILS 🎄

I’ll be offering two separate dates, with 5 spots available each day.

And because we’re in the Pacific Northwest, we’ll also have a rain date the following weekend at the same time, just in case Mother Nature has other plans! ☔️😉

✨ A few important details:

The session fee is non-refundable. However, if something comes up and you need to reschedule, your payment can be transferred as a credit toward the balance of a full session on a different date.

And now for the fun part! ❤️

This year’s Christmas setup will include a miniature red truck for the kids 🚚🎄, a beautiful sleigh, and lots of festive details to help us capture those sweet, genuine moments that make this time of year so magical. ✨

These sessions are perfect for updating your family portraits, creating beautiful Christmas memories, and checking those holiday card photos off your list! 🎁

It feels good to be back in the PNW🏞

Sometimes you don't remember how much you love something until you get to experience it again: there is something about the crisp air, the golden light and the never ending green contrast in this place.

I feel so lucky to be back in this gorgeous part of the planet. Nowhere else you can find so many perfect spots for portraits like in 🌲🏝☀️

Alright, friends… that was quite a long posting break! ❤️

Our time overseas has officially come to an end, and we are back in the gorgeous Evergreen State! 🌲✨

I’ll be ready to start welcoming clients again the first week of September, and I couldn’t be more excited to get back behind the camera!

Fall is just around the corner, and if you ask me, it’s one of the most beautiful times of the year in Washington for family portraits. 🍂 It’s also the perfect time to update those family photos or even get your Christmas portraits done before the holiday season arrives.

And as beautiful as winter can be, it can be a little challenging for our little ones—especially on the Island, where the wind can be intense! 😅 Cooler temperatures and bulky layers can also make it harder to show off those carefully chosen outfits you’ve been dreaming about for your session.

There are also only a handful of weekends left for Adventure Sessions at Mount Baker! 🏔️✨ This is just one of the many breathtaking locations here in the PNW where I truly believe every family should experience a session at least once.

So, if you’ve been thinking about updating your family photos, documenting this season of life, or simply creating beautiful memories together, let’s chat! 🤍

🌸 Sakura Sessions Update 🌸

The Sakura season may be a little shorter than expected this year due to the upcoming wind and rain over the next few days 🍃🌧️

I’ve now finalized scheduling for clients who reached out in advance—thank you so much for your trust! 💕
That said, I still have a few remaining dates available (please see flyer for details). If you’ve been thinking about booking, now is the time—these blossoms won’t last long!

Available dates in April:
Friday, 3rd, AM
Saturday, 4th AM
Sunday 5th, PM
Tuesday, 7th PM
Wednesday, 8th PM
Last day: Thursday, 9th PM

AM sessions start at 6:30am PM sessions start at 4:50pm.

✨ My sessions are 60 minutes—no exceptions, regardless of location (there are 3 to choose from with varying distances from Main Base to accommodate different schedules)

This means:
• No rushing
• No stress
• My full attention dedicated to you

The goal is simple: to capture truly beautiful, high-quality images that you’ll treasure long after the petals are gone 🌸
