We’re seeing an increase in “order gatherers”
lately!
Unless you are placing an order in the physical storefront, calling the store at 620-767-7106 or ordering through MY website at www.flowersbylindseyllc.com you are not ordering directly through me. You are using what is called a “Order Gatherer” and it’s crucial to avoid them!
What is an ”Order Gatherer”? They are NOT local or even real florist. They are a call center that lures customers into thinking that they are a local flower shop in the town the customer is looking to send flowers. They take your order and then add additional charges, such as service fees, delivery charges, florist fees and such, on top of the product the costumer has chosen to order, resulting in an increase to the order by as much as 50%. Then they call around to find an actual local florist to fill the order for a small percentage of the customer’s actual total bill.
I can ramble on more in depth about this, but the point is simple.… to get the most of your money it is so important to place your order local and look for signs of order gathers to avoid them.
-Some tips are
1. A local florist will have a local phone number.
2. A local florist will have a physical street address.
3. A local florist will not have an “ad” in them when used through a search engine.
4. A local florist only charges for the product, delivery, and tax.
Some “Order Gatherers” that I have dealt with are Ava’s Flowers, 1-800-Flowers, From you Flowers, Sunny Flowers, Patricia’s Petals and Allyson’s Flowers. I know there are more, but if these generate in your google search AVOID THEM. I am the ONLY florist in Council Grove.
Council Grove residents feel free to share this information with family and friends from afar, as I assume the majority of my “order gathering” orders are coming from out of town customers. I will not fulfill orders from any gathering company. PLEASE order directly through us, and we will be happy to design and deliver your orders!
