Celebrate the Fall Equinox & Harvest Season

As day and night come into balance, we gather in sacred circle to honor the turning of the season. Through song, movement and Dances of Universal Peace we celebrate the harvest of our lives, offer gratitude for what has been given, and gently release what is ready to fall away.

The Dances of Universal Peace are spiritual practice in motion. Drawing on the sacred phrases, teachings & poetry of many worldwide spiritual traditions, the Dances blend music, singing & movement into a living experience of Unity, Peace, Harmony & Healing. These simple circle dances are all taught as we do them.

We invite you to join us for a special DUP Dance led by our dear friend Shivadam, a multi-talented Dance Leader and Mentor who has led dance camps and retreats all over the US and in many other countries.

“We come together to share joy, fellowship, and support in our circle of song, dance and sacred phrase. Our hands become extensions of our hearts as we join hand-in-hand in a circle of love and support.” ~Shivadam

The Dances of Universal Peace bring together sacred phrases, chants, music and simple movements from worldwide spiritual traditions, all taught as we do them. No previous dance experience necessary. All welcome!

FREE event, with the option to donate in order to support community events like these. Audience members (those not wishing to perform) encouraged to come and enjoy live music. Participants are invited to reconnect with themselves, one another, and the deeper meaning present within life's transitions.

Old Town Center for the Arts is thrilled to announce that the 2026 edition of Joe Neri’s very popular annual Bob Dylan Birthday Concert will be held on Saturday, May 16, at 7:00 PM. This will be the 21st anniversary of the show that Neri created in 2006.

As is the custom and theme of these shows, this year’s concert will feature a variety of local and regional musicians, along with some special out-of-state guest performers.

Acoustic and spoken word performers include: Salt Miners (Mike McReynolds, Mark Gifford & Sandy Gifford), Christy Fisher, Tim & Paula Young, Gary Every, and The Root Doctors (Ray DeSylvester & Gary Morgan).

The Mystery Tramps, the official house band for our “Bob Bash,” are: Joe Neri, Larry Hill, Hutch Hutchinson, and Alan Albert, with special appearances by Suzie Schomaker and Ray DeSylvester.
