📸 A special moment of thanks and giving back.

As Symphony in the Flint Hills concludes its operations, our Board of Directors has donated our nearly new warehouse to USD 284 Chase County Schools.

This gift is a way to say thank you to the community for the incredible support over the years—and to ensure the building continues to serve a meaningful purpose.

We are deeply grateful to our dedicated staff, who poured their hearts into making each Symphony in the Flint Hills season a success, and we’re proud to see this building benefit local students into the future.

We are saddened by the passing of Louis Copt, a renowned prairie artist and longtime supporter of Symphony in the Flint Hills. His vibrant work has been part of our Prairie Art exhibit since the beginning, capturing the beauty and spirit of the Kansas landscape.

Louis leaves behind a powerful legacy in the art community and in our hearts. Pictured below are several of his paintings inspired by the Flint Hills —shared in his memory.
