A few weekends ago we catered an early evening wedding where the bride and groom chose to serve heavy appetizers. Guest grazed on buffalo chicken dip during the cocktail hour and once the reception began, guest were greeted by pulled pork sliders, chicken and waffles, and a Mac & Cheese Bar. They also added sweet tea, unsweet tea, and lemonade as non-alcoholic option.

Three little geese will soon be on the loose at Goodpasture, and we recently had the sweetest time celebrating them at a teacher luncheon catered by It’s a Pear Catering and styled by me. To say I loved this setup would be an understatement. There’s just something so whimsical and charming about a “silly goose” theme — playful without feeling over the top, making it perfect for a mixed crowd. Every little detail came together so beautifully, and it was such a fun one to bring to life.

A dedicated teacher can instill optimism, fuel imagination, and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Last week, we had the privilege of providing lunch for Christian Community Schools during Teacher Appreciation Week as a small token of gratitude for all they do each day. We are thankful for their dedication, compassion, and the lasting impact they make in the lives of their students and families.
