It would be so much easier to go to the store and buy some, but it's sooo worth it to spend the time using your hands to create something far more fresh and beautiful, and store-bought doesn't even compare! Flowers and bread - guess they aren't that different. 🩷

The granny in me is rejoicing today. Happy Sunday all, I hope you have a peaceful day!

The sweet annie is harvested and hanging up to dry for use in wreaths this fall!

Dried bunches of sweet annie will also be available at the farmstand in September for the DIYers out there.

Pumpkin spice season is just around the corner and we're getting excited!!

Toad & Binny's will be selling fresh squeezed lemonade and homemade jumbo cookies, so come hungry!

We took some time off this Saturday for a wedding. Missing in this picture is Michael (14 years old) who was not there for the event. As a side note - when did these boys get so big?!?

These days are getting shorter and I'm losing daylight to take pictures on Friday evenings! 😩

A preview of tomorrow's bouquets: lisianthus (which lasts reeaallly long a vase, up to two weeks!), China aster, fluffy double cosmos, and gomphrena. There will also be bright celosia and zinnia bouquets which are not yet made! 🩷💜🧡

Something for both the pastel and the bright lovers!

Happy Friday!! 🙌🏻

It has been a buuuusy week here (which is a wonderful thing!), but just wanted to pop in here to say that the farmstand is ON for tomorrow, Saturday August 2nd from 9 am - 12 pm!

I'll be making the bouquets this evening and will post pictures/video of them then. I'm thinking straight bunches of fluffy cosmos and rose-like lisianthus!
