There’s something so special about receiving flowers! 💐 This year for Mother’s Day, we’re trying things a little differently. I don’t want to put any restrictions on the color palette other than: we’re going for dreamy, Spring garden vibes. This will allow me to add some local product to my recipe that might be trickier to plan for and also leave more room for more magic ✨

I also have an early bird special going on until Friday at midnight because I haven’t launched Mother’s Day on the website yet and some of you have wonderfully asked for an arrangement still.

The main floral piece Elizabeth was looking forward to was the long, very full baby’s breath runner. I don’t always get to see the bride’s reaction to my designs because I’m always so busy with the setup, but I got to see her and her bridesmaids swoon over this and tell me I nailed it. The extra hours I spent creating a mock-up and perfecting this blooming runner were completely worth it! Most of her photo inspiration was pretty neat and classic, but instead of a perfectly sculpted look, I let the blooms trail of a little to give it a softer look. I wanted the people at the table to be drawn in by the:

1. Lush volume of the arrangement
2. Subtle billowing of the blooms
3. Soft textures of the different types of baby’s breath I used

The only thing I would change is the fact that I didn’t bring food, so the extra hours I spent on this were extra exhausting 🙈 haha someday I’ll learn.
