Charlie’s 9th Birthday Shindig

This western-themed birthday celebration came together on short notice after a previous client reached out and asked if there was any way we could fit the event into an already busy Saturday.

It wasn’t the easiest day for an outdoor photo booth setup. Winds reached approximately 18 mph, which required us to secure the booth and backdrop to keep everything safe and stable throughout the event.

Despite the challenges, the kids had an incredible time, guests received four-pose 2x6 photo strips, and the event turned out beautifully.

The best part?

Receiving an email afterward from the client telling me how happy she was with the image quality and that we were able to make it happen on short notice.

That’s what it’s all about.

The family had worked with us before and remembered the quality of the images from a previous event, so it was important to them that we be part of the celebration.

One thing you may notice in the video is that the booth is secured to a nearby structure. With winds reaching approximately 18 mph throughout the day, we anchored the setup to keep everything safe and stable.

The western theme was a huge success, the kids had a blast, and the booth stayed busy throughout the event.

A quick glimpse from a recent bar mitzvah at The Loading Dock in Stamford, Connecticut.

This event had incredible energy all night long. The atmosphere, lighting, decor, and guest interaction all came together beautifully throughout the celebration.

The photo booth stayed consistently active because guests were fully immersed in the experience from start to finish.

I’ve worked at this venue many times before and have honestly never seen the space transformed quite like this.

The lighting, decor, and overall atmosphere created an incredible energy throughout the evening and the photo booth stayed busy all night long.

For the booth itself, we used supplemental lighting with a black backdrop to maintain depth and separation in the images throughout the event.

The final images from the night came out beautifully.

Recent bar mitzvah at The Loading Dock in Stamford, Connecticut.

The transformation of the venue for this event was incredible. We’ve worked at The Loading Dock many times and I’ve honestly never seen it look quite like this before.

For the photo booth setup, we used a black backdrop with supplemental lighting to properly separate guests from the background and maintain depth in the images throughout the night.

That lighting difference becomes especially important when guests are wearing darker clothing in darker environments.

When clients invest heavily into the atmosphere of an event, every detail has to support that same level of presentation.

Julia’s Bat Mitzvah at the Knobloch Family Farmhouse at Stamford Museum & Nature Center.

Between the weather, the setting, the music, and the energy from the guests, this was such a fun event to be part of.

The photo booth stayed busy all night, and the atmosphere throughout the event came together beautifully.
