Jordan & Maddy are officially MARRIED! 🌿👰‍❤️‍👰

On June 14th, in the heart of the Williamsburg Botanical Garden, these two beautiful brides eloped among the blooms🌸🌳 — surrounded by the love of their closest family and friends.

They read vows to each other beneath the trees, with sunlight filtering through the leaves like a quiet blessing. It was tender, intentional, and completely theirs. 🌸💍

A love like this — rooted and radiant — is the kind that grows wild and true. So honored to witness and capture it.

how your hands trembled just before the first look,

right when your vows ended.

From the quiet moments of their first look 🥹 to the laughter echoing through their outdoor ceremony 🌿, everything felt so genuine. The connection between these two was effortless — it showed in every glance, every hand squeeze, every tear wiped away during the vows 💍✨

The reception was pure joy. As the sun dipped below the trees 🌅, the white tent lit up and the dance floor came alive. So much movement, so much celebration — dancing under the stars 🌌, barefoot in the grass 💃🕺, arms around loved ones. It felt magical, and it was such an honor to capture it all.

It’s days like this that remind me why I do what I do — not just to photograph people, but to freeze feelings in time 📸🕰️

Renae + James | Mr. + Mrs. Helms 🤍

As a photographer, there are certain weddings that stay with you long after the day is over — and this was one of them.
Renae and James exchanged vows at Heritage Valley Farm LLC, tucked in the breathtaking outskirts of Asheville 🏞️🌾 And wow… this venue was straight out of a dream. The rolling hills, soft mountain light, and quiet stillness of the land made every photo feel like a painting. 🎨📸

But even more beautiful than the setting? The way these two love each other. The quiet glances, the teary-eyed vows, the laughter that filled the air — it was a day full of heart and meaning 🕊️💛

Watching Renae walk toward James, surrounded by the people who love them most, I was reminded why I do this. It’s about more than pretty photos — it’s about capturing legacy, connection, and the beginning of a new chapter 🤍

Vivian + Dylan | Ferry State Park

This session was extra special for me. Vivian has been a friend of mine for many years, and watching her step into motherhood with such grace is something I’ll never forget. She’s always had this deep, earthy love for the outdoors — the kind that makes you pause and breathe in the beauty around you. And then came Dylan, who shares that same grounded, wild-hearted love for nature. Together, they just fit — like river to stone, sun to soil.

They wandered through Givhans Ferry State Park 🌲💚, barefoot and barefoot-hearted, letting the trees, the soft light, and their quiet joy lead the way. 🌳📸

Capturing their story felt less like work and more like witnessing something timeless — a little magic tucked between the leaves.

I’m so honored to document this season for them. Their next adventure is already blooming. 🌱🌼👣

Golden hour magic 🌅 | Topsail Beach Engagement Session

Okay, confession time: I am terrible at posting. As a photographer, I get so caught up in shooting, editing, and delivering galleries that sharing the magic online always falls to the bottom of the list. 😅
But this session? I couldn't not share it.

I had the joy of capturing this sweet couple’s engagement session under the pier at Topsail Beach—and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Everything about the evening felt effortless. The light was dreamy, the waves were calm, and these two were so kind, joyful, and totally in love. Their kindness and connection were effortless to photograph, and moments like these remind me why I love what I do. 💛

It was the kind of session that fills your heart and reminds you why you picked up a camera in the first place.

Congrats again to these two—your love is as calm and radiant as the sea.
