Every year when the blossoms return, I find myself going back to these photos. Last spring feels like yesterday… but somehow my babies already look so much bigger. The baby isn’t quite a baby anymore. The little boy who sat quietly under the tree now runs everywhere. And my girl who climbed that tree like it was nothing reminds me that childhood is meant to be a little wild and full of adventure.

Photography has always been more than a job for me, it’s my way of holding onto moments that pass way too quickly.
Right now we’re in that tiny 2–3 week window welcoming spring, when the blossoms show up and everything feels a little magical again. 🌸

If you’ve ever wanted photos like this, this is the time.
Just be prepared… sometimes the best shots involve climbing a tree and going on a little adventure.

there was this.

A dress hanging in stillness.
Soft morning light through windows.

A mirror holding the anticipation of what was about to begin.

And that ring,
nestled into florals like it already belonged there.

I don’t even know where to start with this one.

Photographing strangers on their wedding day is always an honor… but photographing your own aunt and uncle? At United States Military Academy West Point of all places?

That’s something I’ll never forget.
Aunt Marcela has always been steady and strong and watching her walk toward Uncle John with that quiet confidence and joy… I had to blink back a few tears behind my camera.

The Hudson in the background.
The stone buildings standing tall.
The kind of beauty you really can’t manufacture.

Let's be honest. The best part wasn’t the view. It was them.

The way they looked at each other said it all.

There’s something really special about photographing family.

You’re not just documenting a wedding, you’re preserving your own history. My kids will look back at these photos one day and see what love looked like in our family. And that feels big.

🎶 “Hey now, hey now… this is what dreams are made of…” 🎶

If teenage me knew that one day I’d be chasing golden light instead of stage lights… she’d probably still approve.
Photography life isn’t always glamorous. It’s memory cards everywhere, editing at midnight, running on coffee, fixing veils, calming nerves, chasing toddlers, fluffing dresses, and praying the weather holds.

But then…
The first look.
The belly laugh.
The tear rolling down dad’s face.
The sunset hitting just right.
And I think, this really is what dreams are made of. 🤍
So grateful I get to freeze time for people. So grateful this is my “job.”

I’m going to be honest.
I’m not the best at posting consistently.

I pour everything into my clients. Into their timelines. Into their galleries. Into making sure every wedding day runs smoothly and feels documented in the most honest way possible.

And then when it comes to showing up on here?
I overthink it. Or I’m editing at midnight. Or I’m rocking a baby. Or I’m answering emails between my other job and bedtime.

But this year feels different.

I don’t want to hide the work I’m so proud of anymore.
